In 2014, Nancy, Guido and their dog Senja visited a presentation about shipping your own car to North America. Wow, how cool would that be! But, how to arrange that? And what would it cost? How does is work, flying with a dog? After finding the answers to almost all of their questions, in 2017 they ship their car to North America for a 6 month road trip: from Halifax to Fairbanks, then via the east coast and a bit inland to Houston. A great adventure, that left them want for more. A great continent for wild camping, overwhelming and diverse scenery, very friendly and helpful people and very dog friendly.
Making a nice fire, fishing, pancakes in the morning, camping with fellow travellers or by our own on the greatest spots, seeing wild life, inhaling fresh air, doing the laundry, into the mountain, witnessing the Northern Lights, telling storing and listening to other traveller’s stories, Walmart, enjoying each other’s company, Senja who is probably in over 1,000 photo books, making friends, celebrating Thanksgiving and going to a casino in Las Vegas wíth the dog.
