André van Huizen: Africa and South America in a self-built LandCruiser

André van Huizen has been traveling to all corners of this globe for more than 30 years. In 2001 he bought a LandCruiser and with that he traveled to Iceland. 5 years later, in 2006, the trip of a lifetime started: in 6 trips of 2 months each, he traveled to Cape Town. From there he made seven more trips through southern Africa. In 2013 the cruiser came back to the Netherlands by container, where André simply cut the bodywork through the middle and built a completely new camper unit. A number of idiosyncratic choices made the LandCruiser a unique expedition camper that in the meantime made two half-year trips in South America.

André will show two short compilation films and he will also tell you a few things about the construction of the camper.
