Roel Bremmers – Road side motorcycle tire repair

After the great success of last year Roel is back for the workshop roadside tire repair! Tire repair and replacement can, physically, be one of the hardest things to do. Roel shares tips and tricks for both tube and tubeless repairs while on the road, hoping to take one more obstacle away from starting that life changing journey.

Roel left The Netherlands 8 years ago for a motorcycle journey around the world. He rode his Honda Africa Twin through Europe, Asia, Australia and North- and South America. As a low budget traveler, he performed all of his bike maintenance himself and taught his girlfriend how to maintain her own motorcycle, as well.

Albert Oosting – First Aid on the road

Albert has been at Discover Overland since 2017 and is back this year with a new first aid workshop. A practical training.

Albert Oosting discovered the pleasure of motorcycles at an early age. The unpaved paths in the province of Drenthe are familiar territory for him. Professionally, Albert has been providing first aid training for years. Because of his background with the Dutch armed forces, he is an expert in the use of first aid in remote areas: where your medical kit is limited and professional help far away. Since last year he combines his love of motorbikes and travel with his knowledge as first aid trainer through Adventure Shield where he offers a large number of courses.
