Egle Gerulaityte – 8 Years in South America, from 150cc to chasing dakar

In 2013 while backpacking Peru, Egle learned to ride a bike with the help of a passing rider. Bought a 150cc bike in Nazca, and took off to ride South America for two years covering the Peru-Tierra del Fuego-Colombia route with little clue, no experience, and no gear.

Hopelessly hooked on adventure riding and South America since, Egle returned there a few years later to travel the continent on her DR650, lead motorcycle tours, and chase the Dakar Rally up close and personal.

Whether you're a seasoned traveller or someone who's just starting out, Egle might have a tip or two about travelling South America and surviving the Andes Mountains - on a 150cc as well as a 650cc.
