Why Discover Overland?

Being experienced travellers, we get all sorts of questions all the time about our gear, destinations, setup, luggage, tyres… you name it. Additionally, we found that there is a gap in the overland event calendar in the low countries. You have lots of events all over Europe, but so far there’s none in the Netherlands or Belgium. And that’s when we decided that this should change.

Who are we?

The Discover Overland team, that’s Roel & Azure, on the road for the past 8 years, Leonie & Peter who travelled around the world for almost 3 years and Jo & Sofie, who spent 5 months on the road in 2016. We are all experienced travellers who love to share our experiences and expertise with other people, but we also love to learn from other people’s experiences.

What are we aiming for?

Discover Overland wants to provide an answer to all the questions we regularly come across. And what better way to do this, than to have them answered by other travellers . During an entire weekend, we offer a wide variety of presentations, workshops and networking moments where people can share their knowledge about destinations, gear, means of transport etc. We also offer ample space for manufacturers and brands to show off their products and services. And at the end of the day we can all just share a cold beer around the bonfire, telling stories about far or near destinations.

Who are we aiming at?

We aim at the overland travel community, people who want to seek adventure by travelling in or on their own vehicle, from motorbikes to 4WD’s to complete Unimog trucks. In short: your customer base.

Do you want to help us lift this event to an even higher level by offering our participants a look into the products and services available to them, then get in touch with us!
