Martin Brucker – On the way (Auf dem Weg) Part 2

From Ushuaia, Argentina up to Dead Horse, Alaska. Crossing Russia, Mongolia and Central Asia back to Germany - 3 1/2 years on the way home.

Martin Brucker traveled from March 2010 to October 2016 around the world on his trusty BMW G650 Xchallenge. He covered about 255.067km crossing about 70 countries "On The Way" to his home in the Black Forest, Germany.

Martin Brucker travelled the world for 6 1/2 years, crossing about 70 countries through all continents. It took him three years all the way down south to Ushuaia in Argentina - the southernmost village in the world. At Discover Overland 2018, he presented his three year journey from Germany to Ushuaia, Argentina.

This year Martin will be back to talk about the second part of his trip back home to Germany. 3 1/2 years on the way home: his presentation will start in Ushuaia, Argentina. He takes you all the way up through the Americas and Cuba to Dead Horse in Alaska. Riding back south to Gibson at the Sunshine Coast near Vancouver where he stayed for the Winter. In March 2016 he shipped his motorcycle over to Vladivostok, Russia heading west crossing Russia, Mongolia, Kirgistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the Baltic States back to Germany.

Along the road, Martin had to deal with some obstacles. He dislocated his shoulder in a crash in the rain forest in the north of Argentina. He lost half of a tooth while eating a pizza in La Paz, Bolivia which ended in a rood-canal treatment. He had some clutch problems in Argentina and had to replace his cam chain in Panama City and he encountered some bear and moose in Canada and Alaska. Martin will tell you all about this in his presentation at Discover Overland 2019.
